the supernova series on Interstellar Records started in 2001, in the first year of the label. a four tapes box with artists like Calamari:Autopsy (a), Monster DVD (jap, Government Alpha with KK Null + Tabata from Zeni Geva), Interstate 35 (a, Wolfram Reiter & Bug) and Mute Audio (a, Claus Harringer of Valina). the number Two was released in 2009 as a double10inch Vinyl and includes artists like Bulbul & Heimo Wallner (a), Merzbow (jap), Peach Pit (hr) and Wolfgang Fuchs (a). the idea was to make space for side projects, collaborations of members of the Interstellar family. all settled into experimental and/or improvised music (in a very noisy way). the idea to continue the series starts in 2017 (after the offical breal of Interstellar Records sublabel Dilemma Records) and finally gets released in the end of 2018 with artists like Angélica Castelló (a, mex), Neulinger/Zachariadis (a), Stirb (a) and Road To Wineville (a) as two seperated split tapes (includes the digital version).

STIRB
The project „Stirb“ (german: die!) formed in 2013 with Arnulf Rödler as it´s only permanent member.
Performing in several Noiserock, Grindcore, Doom Metal and experimental bands, Arnulf Rödler always worked solo during these periods. Melding Harsh Noise with Ambient Music, he started to develop the idea of a musical project consisting only of himself, to support his illustrative artwork. In 2014 this effort could be heard the first time during the Arnulf Rödler art show „They who accept all that is offered“ in the Leopold Museum, Vienna, Austria. This also was the first time he used the moniker „Stirb“. Stirb recorded the first three musical parts oft the conceptual project „Vaterland“ consisting oft the chapters „Country“, „People“, „State“ for Interstellar Records Every „instrument“ on this recording will be just Arnulf Rödlers voice and heartbeat...

ROAD TO WINEVILLE
Road To Wineville is the moniker of austrians Experimental Artist Wolfram Reiter. first recordings in 1992, various band projects and solo releases - some with selfbuilt instruments
the first band was 'metastase' (1996-1998) - playing free jazz mixed with rock and noise. the end of 'metastase' leads to the infernal noise of 'head of yagan' (1999-2001). two films are musically worked on: in 1997 it is james whales 'frankenstein' (usa 1932) and three years later erich von stroheims silent classic 'greed' (usa, 1923). 'bonefarm' (1999-2002) some kind of a morbid country band is the first chance working with songtexts regularly, no distortion on bass. 'janedoe' (2002-2005) get their focus on extremely bleak slow and heavy noise-doom.
after the end of 'janedoe' 'weeds' was started - a duo with 'janedoe' drummer albin kratzer. the musical spectrum of weeds includes melancholy jazz ballads, rather quiet atonal songs but also epic dark noise.
2008 'weeds' is renamed - now the bands name is 'riverwitch'. deathmetal songs, grindcore and rock songs are added to the songlist.
